FAQs: Kord Edition!

How did you come up with their design?

The initial inspirations for him came about since at the time I was in a big alien phase, plus I was back into my deep-sea shark interest again. I just mishmashed the two together (plus my favorite color) and got the VERY early form of Kord!

Has Kord changed since then?

Proto-Kord was much different from the Kord seen today, since they were intended to be a more amphous blob, ironically. Over time she changed significantly in terms what they ARE, but not so much their physical attributes, save for the addition of a tail and paw-pads.

Why the name "Kord"?

I actually ripped it from an EXTREME bastardization of an Animorph character's name. I liked how it looked and sounded and it stuck! Also the name "Kord" didn't actually exist until like... 2020. Before then, people would just call Kord MY name.

Are they a fursona????

No. but also yes? It's complicated. But for simplicity, I'll say "yes".

If they're nonbinary, then why don't they look androgynous?

Nonbinary people don't always have androgynous looks.
Being my persona, her looks are also based off my own.

Mascot/Persona Info

If you've looked around my account, you've most likely seen a certain fluffy purple alien, that's Kord!

Kord has been my main (and usually only!) online persona since the wee age of 15, albeit them having gone through changes through the years. She's a very important character to me and seldomly can he be separated from me. I am them and they are me.
